• When I see beloved husband or wife in an obituary I tend to wonder – was he or she really beloved?
• I asked Doug would he rather have the last name Lovejoy or Ramsbottom? Can you guess his answer?
• I was thinking about a book title: An Ordinary Tragic Life
• Daniel and I were listening to a Coffee House station on satellite radio and Jewel came on. ‘Mom you can sing better than that!’ I'll take it.
• On same satellite radio, Daniel really hated the song Déjà vu by Crosby, Stills, & Nash
• On same satellite radio, I tried to explain the double entendre of the Who song Squeeze Box. I don’t think he got it and made a face. He's still only 12.
• On same satellite radio, Jail Break by Thin Lizzy has got to be one of the worst songs I have ever heard. Tuneless and repetitive: tonight there’s gonna be a jail break. There you know the whole song. Now sing it in any nonsensical tune.
